INTERNATIONAL ACCO 6x6 Dump Truck Bandiana 2014

The official designation of this tipper is: Truck, 5 ton, Dump F2. It is basically the 4x4 International ACO with an extended chasis and an extra axle. Like the 4x4, it had typical military multi-purpose capability. It was mainly used as a tipper, but could be fitted with fold-down seats and a tilt cover and frame for troop movement. It was also employed a a general cargo mover. Over 130 of these tippers were used in Vietnam during the Australian ivolvement in that conflict. Photos I've seen suggest those used in theatre had single rear wheels, not the twins on this vehicle. Seen at the Army Corps Museum, Gaza Barracks, Bandiana.
